To practice direct object pronouns, I used the game my Spanish teacher in 9th grade used to practice DOPs. A variety of objects were placed in the center and students given numbers within two teams. Then, I would say the Spanish word and call out a number. The student with that number from each team would go to the middle, grab the object and then say: Lo, la, los, or las tengo (I have it). This works with DOP placement and replacement of the masculine, feminine, singular, plural noun.
