Day 46: formative assessment to drive instruction #atplc


Using exit tickets from yesterday’s class, I created homogeneous flexible groups based on accuracy with comparisons. Students analyzed mistakes, came to a consensus and then presented how and why they came to that conclusion using terms like: noun, adjective, equal, unequal, comparison, masculine, feminine, singular, or plural. This is a picture of one group of students who had the exit tickets perfect. They were asked to create new comparisons and extend their knowledge to comparisons with numbers. They also presented and we discussed as a class.
