Day 41: using data to drive instruction #atplc


After school I was fortunate to be able to collaborate with a colleague in order to plan intervention activities for students struggling with recent grammar concepts and productive (writing) skills. Using my assessment data and examining student work, we came up with a plan to give students “just in time” re-teaching and extra practice to hopefully increase their achievement on a reassessment. We’ll see how it goes during “School Wide Achievement Time” in Thursday. (SWAT is our flexible modified block “extra” time set aside during the school day for intervention and enrichment activities)
